Patricia, Business Administration Grad

Congratulations to Business Adminstration graduate Patricia Tassie. Patricia secured work with RW (Bob) Wall Custom Contracting Ltd. as a result of her fantastic networking skills and loves her new job. The Nanaimo campus had invited their local Chamber of Commerce into one of the classrooms as part of the campus’ popular monthly guest speaker series and Patricia made the wise decision to attend. The next thing Patricia knew she was recommended for a job through her new connection at the Chamber and the rest is history! Way to go Patricia!

Romika, Administrative Assistant / Legal Secretary Grad

Romika’s life changed when she got laid off from her job and ended up surviving on EI benefits, but she was determined not to let that part of her life get her down. She applied for some training assistance from the government, who sponsored her to take the Administrative Assistant / Legal Secretary with Practicum. She completed her program with honors and did her practicum with a large law firm, who quickly hired her before she completed her practicum. She has since been promoted, and always comes by the campus to thank everyone for giving her a new lease on life.

Greg, Advanced Business Management & E-Commerce Grad

Attending Sprott-Shaw Community College was an amazing experience. For me, the greatest value came in the form of life management skills. These newly refined skills have been invaluable in helping me develop my career as a Consultant for Investors Group.
