Microsoft Word Level 1
Word processing is the use of computers to create , revise, and save documents for printing and future retrieval. This course is the first in a series of three Microsoft Office Word 2007 courses. It will provide you with the basic concepts required to produce basic business documents.
Microsoft Word Level 2
In the next level of Word, students increase the complexity of their documents by adding components such as customized lists, tables, charts, and graphics. Students will also create personalized efficiency tools.
Microsoft Word Level 3
Students will learn how to create, manage, revise and distribute long documents, and forms.
Microsoft Excel Level 1
Students will learn how to create and edit basic worksheets and workbooks.
Microsoft Excel Level 2
Students will learn how to streamline and enhance spreadsheets with templates, charts, graphics, and formulas. Students will apply visual elements and advanced formulas to a worksheet to display data in various formats.
Microsoft Excel Level 3
Students will learn how to automate common tasks, apply advanced analysis techniques to more complex data sets, collaborate on worksheets with other, and share Excel data with other applications.
Microsoft Power Point Level 1
Students will learn how to create effective basic PowerPoint presentations for delivery in front of an audience.
Microsoft Power Point Level 2
Students will learn how to enhance presentations with features that will transform basic presentations into those with a powerful means of communication.
Microsoft Project Level 1
Prepares students to manage projects more efficiently, through schedules, finances, human resources and integration to Microsoft system programs. Students will learn, project screen, how to enter information, how to use the project guide, how to enter task and task durations, enter costs, identify and enter work and cost variance, balance project progress information.
Microsoft Project Level 2
This course will build upon the knowledge gained in level 1 and assist student to update, modify and keep project moving once project has reached implementation phase.
Microsoft Outlook Level 1 & 2
This course will provide students with the skills necessary to start sending and responding to e-mail, as well as maintaining a calendar, scheduling meetings, and creating tasks.
Microsoft Visio Level 1 & 2
This course will provide students with the fundamentals skills, while creating several types of diagrams, of Visio. Students will learn how to apply to diagrams, flowcharts and layouts.
Transitions from 2003 – 2007
This course was designed for individuals who are familiar and have been working in a windows 2003 environment: This will assist individual to become comfortable with all the new features and updates of windows 2007. Participants will go through all function changes and impact on their applications.
All courses are 1 day in length.
