I feel very confident that I could go to any Hospital with my Diploma

I started the Practical Nursing program in June of 2011 at the East Vancouver Campus. When I first started the program, I was hesitant because I wasn’t sure if the school would be recognized as a credible school when I graduated and seeking employment. When I started my 1st practicum at Eagle Ridge Hospital, we were very well received and after a couple of weeks I was praised often for my competent nursing skills. The nursing staff was very impressed with the education I received at Sprott Shaw. My last practicum was at Lions Gate Hospital, and again, not only was Sprott­ Shaw recognized, but the nursing staff were very impressed with my skills. I feel very confident that I could go to any Hospital with my Diploma.

The instructors made me feel comfortable and confident. They have an excellent grasp of what`s current in the industry, and they have prepared me for the working world of nursing.

I would highly recommend this program and Sprott­ Shaw College. This will be a stepping stone for me and my career in the nursing industry.
